The next four days we are set to enjoy Family Conference. This special emphasis on our homes is intended to strengthen individuals, families, and ultimately our total church ministry. We are living in a day when the very foundations of our Christian faith are under attack.
The home was the first institution established by our Lord … even before the Church or human government. Since our homes are the bedrock of society, and in a direct sense impact every other aspect of life, Satan has aimed his big guns at them. It has been rightly said, “as goes the home so goes the church”. In reality, our church is no stronger than its weakest home.
The answer to success in this and every area of our Christian life is found in obedience to Biblical principles regarding the home. The Bible speaks to husband-wife relationships, child rearing, finances, personal priorities, and scores of other aspects of life in our homes. Wait before the Lord in anticipation of the blessings that will surely come when Dr. Rand Hummel addresses these and other topics before us this week.
Invite a friend. Come every service with an open heart, a desire to learn, and Bible in hand. These will truly be wonderful days.
