Homecoming 2009 was so special – with over 500 registering for the morning services – that May 2 has been set as ‘Homecoming Day 2010′. Invitations are being sent to everyone who has ever been touched by this ministry.
Often we think of the many people who have been saved, baptized, or served for a time in the ministries here. Many are spread across America. We’ve all grown a bit older but with grateful hearts remember past blessings. Sunday, May 2 will give us all precious opportunities to reminisce about the ‘good old days’. We look forward to seeing old friends, meeting new ones, and catching up on all the latest news. A full slate of events are being planned including an old fashioned ‘dinner on the grounds’.
Special recognition will be given to those who have traveled the greatest distance. Church, school, and camp staff members will be honored. After pastoring here for thirty-six years, I look forward to saying a big “Thank You” to all who encouraged and helped along the way!
