‘Come home’ and join us for Homecoming Day 2010 … Sunday, May 2, 2010.
Many things are being planned for Homecoming weekend … opportunities to reconnect and fellowship with all of those we’ve come to know and love by way of the Fairview Baptist Church ministries. We anticipate a full house – and with a special Sunday dinner being planned want to make sure there are more than enough fixins!
We would love to hear that you’ll be joining us for Homecoming Sunday.
To the left you’ll find a link to ‘HOMECOMING RSVP’ … or simply go to the ‘Contact’ link above to send us your message.
We’re looking forward to a great day!
Homecoming 2009 was so special – with over 500 registering for the morning services – that May 2 has been set as ‘Homecoming Day 2010′. Invitations are being sent to everyone who has ever been touched by this ministry.
Often we think of the many people who have been saved, baptized, or served for a time in the ministries here. Many are spread across America. We’ve all grown a bit older but with grateful hearts remember past blessings. Sunday, May 2 will give us all precious opportunities to reminisce about the ‘good old days’. We look forward to seeing old friends, meeting new ones, and catching up on all the latest news. A full slate of events are being planned including an old fashioned ‘dinner on the grounds’.
Special recognition will be given to those who have traveled the greatest distance. Church, school, and camp staff members will be honored. After pastoring here for thirty-six years, I look forward to saying a big “Thank You” to all who encouraged and helped along the way!
Bro. Jack

February 28 after the evening service … soup and chowder! Continue reading …
The next four days we are set to enjoy Family Conference. This special emphasis on our homes is intended to strengthen individuals, families, and ultimately our total church ministry. We are living in a day when the very foundations of our Christian faith are under attack. Continue reading …
