Dr. Jack Scallions

Senior Pastor

Pastor Scallions has been pastor of Fairview Baptist Church since 1974. During his 38 year ministry, the church has grown from a small congregation of under 60 people meeting in one building on a hill, to a active and growing church with a five building campus whose ministry touches people all over the McMinn County Area. A graduate of Tennessee Temple University and Tennessee Temple Seminary, Pastor Scallions has been used of God to begin a radio ministry, Fairview Christian Academy, Camp Fairview, bus routes, and many other ministries. Pastor Scallions is married to Paulette and has three grown children.

Barb McDonald

Church Secretary

“Miss Barb” McDonald has been the faithful secretary of Fairview Baptist Church for over twenty years. Both “Miss Barb” and her husband Tim were reached as teenagers through the ministries of Fairview Baptist Church and “Miss Barb” has served as church secretary since completing her studies at Tennessee Temple University.

Carlos Mauricio

Spanish Pastor

Carlos Mauricio has been the Spanish Pastor at Fairview since 2004. Pastor Mauricio serves a growing population of Spanish Speaking people in McMinn County. When not preforming pastoral duties, Pastor Mauricio supervises grounds and building expansion at Fairview Baptist Church and Camp Fairview. Pastor Mauricio is married to Tina, and has three children, Robert (16), Justin (14) and Candice (1).

Alex Newton

Youth Director

Brother Alex has served as our youth director since 2010. Alex is a student at Crown College in Knoxville, TN. Brother Alex coordinates the teen sunday school classes, plans teen activities, and works in the bus ministry. Brother Alex is married to Anna.

Greg Ranck

Minister of Education

Greg Ranck has been the administrator at Fairview Christian Academy since 2004. A graduate of Pensacola Christian College and Pensacola Christian College Graduate School, Mr. Ranck has a passion for Christian Education. Mr. Ranck is an active part of Fairview Baptist Church, teaching a college and career sunday school class, working in the bus ministry and helping out in many other areas. Mr. Ranck is married to Mary Beth, and has three children: Alyson (16), Abby (14) and Andrew (11).
