Spanish Ministry

Fairview has had a burden for the Hispanic community for quite some time. Many, many Spanish speaking people live in Athens, Tennessee and the surrounding communities with little opportunity to hear a true witness of the Gospel of Christ in their own tongue.

In early 2005, God led Carlos Mauricio to Fairview Baptist Church as our Spanish Pastor. Under Carlos’ leadership the Spanish church has blossomed and is growing into a strong body of believers. With a Sunday School and Sunday morning worship services, the Spanish Church is building the strong foundation necessary for long term growth, seeing many added to the church with salvation decisions.
